Fetishism has been the focus of many magazines, scientific articles, art books and other publications for quite some time. And now, after more than 15 years of online exploration of sexuality, fetishism has flourished and expanded in many new ways, branching off into interesting and often unforeseen territories. A fetish allows one to explore and experience their sexuality beyond the human body branching off to inanimate objects.

Although this is not something new as people have had fetishes for decades (if not for ages), it is the way fetishism has undergone radical changes with the development of new (digital) technologies. New communities appeared and, from those, new and more intricate fetishes flourished.

Very few have attempted to catalogue every fetish currently known. The Fetish Encyclopedia is doing just that. Once it will be publicly available as a website, visitors can browse the database by category like fabrics, objects, body parts, etc. The fetishes are accompanied by a short description and several images.

Furthermore visitors are encouraged to add their own suggestions, and anonymously rate their preference for a certain fetish. It will also be possible to upload your own fetish picture and add it to the database.

Thus the Fetish Encyclopedia will be an expanding source of information and visual stimuli that allows the visitor to discover and explore the exhilarating world of fetishism.
